Donovan George Pinnock (aka Donna-V) was born in the district of Victoria Town in Jamaica. Although he sang at a very young age, Donna-V initially started his musical career as a DJ in the early '80s. 2000 marked the year his debut, Cry for Tomorrow, would be released on Studio One.
